How will the competition take place ?
First Round: Nominations
The blogs competing for a place in the finals will be submitted by the public via a form available on this link: www.marocblogawards.com . It will run until 11:59pm on Wednesday the 26th of December 2007.
You can participate only once by suggesting three to five blogs. Each blog has to be nominated in the category that best summarizes its editorial line. It is therefore important to choose the right category in which each blog will be nominated.
Three blogs are the minimum required to be validated and five are the maximum authorized. The two first fields are required. The third subject is optional. Number 4 gives you the opportunity to propose your own blog in a category. This is also optional. The last field is obligatory and let you propose your “Best Moroccan Blog” of the year.
The blogs that enter the competition have to be managed by:
- Moroccans living in Morocco or abroad,
- Expats living in Morocco or having “Morocco” as a main subject.
Second Round: The finals
Based on the number of nominations for each category, the Top 3 blogs in each category will be announced on Wednesday the 3rd of January 2008.
The public will be able to vote on one of these 3 finalists for each category.
The blogs competing for a place in the finals will be submitted by the public via a form and will run until 11:59pm on Wednesday the 23rd of January 2008.
The winners:
The winners will be announced live on Saturday, the 2nd of February 2008. A dedicated Maroc Blog Awards ceremony will specially be held in Casablanca. Prizes will be offered to each winner of each category. We keep them a secret till then! ;o)
